Our Little Red Car

Inspired by his Chinese story book, Rb asked to make a box car too. He painted it with his favourite colour - red :) We started making it at 8 pm and completed by 11 pm. It was fun making it but it takes a lot of patience to complete it. The finished product makes lil boy thrilled! :) Papa said this car is environmentally-friendly and economical - No COE, ERP, road tax, insurance and petrol cost! Free parking too! Hahaha :)

Made with Love by Grandma

My mom has been taking care of Pb since she was a baby... Back then, we did not have any domestic helper so gong gong and mama had to do everything by themselves while watching over Pb. Even now that she does not require the changing of diapers and making of milk, mama still squeeze pure apple juice for Pb occasionally. To celebrate Pb's birthday, grandma also made a heart-shaped birthday cake for Pb. It was made with all her heart! To be fair to Rb, she also made a large Mickey Mouse cake for him. Such is the love of grandma for her two precious grand kids! God bless this old lady with good health, prosperity and salvation! :)

Rb's Gingerbread Man

Rb whined about having a gingerbread man. To save on cost, I decided to make him one :) He loves it and is involved in sticking the buttons and stuffing the gingerbread man with toilet paper :) It was a fun activity together :)

Baking Again

Lil boy loves to eat the Sponge Cake that I've made. He can eat 5-6 rectangle (Kway lapis-sized) slices at one time! I've just bought a new Hello Kitty mould recently so I made Hello Kitties Sponge Cake for lil girl's recess snack. For lil boy, he got his Mickey Mouse Sponge cake for his tea time snack :) I love to see them loving my bakes! It's a satisfaction I cannot explain! Thank God for Pb and Rb :)

A Note from her Friend

She's starting to receive notes from her classmates :) This is from her best friend in class, Emma. Cute girl and well-behaved :) God bless the friendship of these 2 little girls :)

Annie the Movie

Recently, I exposed Pb to the musical movie "Annie". We started with the 1999 version with Alicia Morton as Annie. We watched it the You Tube. Pb loves the story instantly. Then on our recent trip to Bishan Junction 8, I chanced upon the DVD of the original movie 'Annie', produced in 1982 with the red curly hair girl, Aileen Quinn as Annie. After watching both versions, Pb concluded that she liked the 1982 original version better. I share the same sentiment and am glad that my lil girl enjoys musical as much as me. Now I know, in future if I want to watch musical productions, I know who to bring along! :)

Pb's Birthday in PLMGS

I felt sad that I cannot go to school to celebrate lil girl's birthday which will be on next Thursday, 25 October. I wish I can go to her school with a cake but I know that it is not very encouraged in Primary Schools. So I thought that the very least I can do is to get her goody bags for her to share to her friends. 30 pieces, they have to be light and less bulky or else it will be too heavy for lil girl to carry on her own. Last night I've prepared the small goody bags. Each pack consists of an elephant keychain/ magnet which yiyi has helped to buy in her recent trip to BKK. I've added in sweets, gummies, jelly and a special card which says "Phoebe is 7 today! Praise God!" or "Phoebe is 7 today ! God is Good!" Indeed, I truly thank God for his grace and mercy for this lovely single-kidneyed clomid girl. Not only is she very healthy, she is also endearingly obedient and compassionate. What more can a mother ask for? In the first place, I am a PCOS mother who may not conceive. So to have 2 children, they're definitely God-sent gifts! I pray that He who provides will continue to watch over them closely. Praise God indeed. God is good and all glory be unto Him! :)

In Touch with Nature

Here we are again, at the Singapore Zoo. Never tired of this place. Lots of fun and learning but if only the weather is more bearable. Happy children, an enthusiastic papa, an accommodating aunty and a grouchy mommy :) But for the sake of my babies, I shall conquer this place with joy and cooperation! :)
