Pb's First Instant Camera

Pb's 8th birthday is coming. This year, she asked for an instant camera. Since I've long wanted to get one for myself, hence I decided to buy it for her and we can both use it :) heehee.

We bought the instant camera from Passiongadget.com.sg. I told her to use the film wisely as they were not cheap; a box of 10 cost $7.50. I've to set rules and boundary; if she abuses the usage, I'll start charging her $1 per picture that she has wilfully taken ;) hopefully, she will learn to exercise her decision-making skills :)

Our New Family Members

Here are our two newly adopted girls, Helen and Belinda. Watch them having fun on their wheels and zipping around in their cage. I find it therapeutic to watch them scurrying in their little enclosures.

When Somebody Loved Me

Found this video clip of Pb choreographing her own dance. She was only about 5 then. She was dancing to the song "When Somebody Loved Me"

Phoebe Teasing Reuben - The Old Days

I was looking back at the photographs and video clips we had taken about 5 years back and found this one. Phoebe was sitting on the toddler's leather car seat. She was trying to entertain and tease her little baby brother because he was getting bored in the car. We were driving the old Nissan Sunny then. Phoebe was about 3+ years old and she looked sooo cute, a little cubby :) Though she has outgrown her car seat, in many ways, Phoebe has not changed yet. She's still as funny and spontaneous, still as lovable. :)

Bursting!

Just like my overflowing fats, my playroom shelves are bursting too! Haha! Can't wait for my kiddies to outgrow and convert the shelves into  book shelves!! :)

Passport Renewal

It's time for Rb to renew his passport.  I think this picture shows that he has really grown up! Love this expression on his face, so cheeky and mischievous looking :)
See how much this little boy has grown! From a chubby baby boy to an impish-looking lad :) Love him just as much! :)

Pb on bicycle

I've not blogged for a long time. Here's one of the latest development.

I always feel that cycling is a skill that one should possess and Pb is old enough to learn cycling. We bought a new bicycle for Pb. After 4 sessions, she is able to cycle on a bicycle :) Now we know, the way for them to learn is not to hold the handle of the bicycle or the shoulders of the cyclists but to allow them to learn balancing on a gentle slope first. Go through the balancing motion without pedalling for about 10 times.

Once they are able to manage their balancing, then they will try to incorporate the footwork by putting their feet on the pedals. That was how Pb had finally mastered cycling.

Good job Pb. Good job papa! :)
