I thought Pb has displayed good phonics skills when she asked me how to spell "appreciate" :) She had wanted to write a card for her form teacher while I was in school, so she sent me this message :) Lot her bits!! :)

Bowling Experience
We feel that it's good to expose the children to different activities and sports. Rb is still a little young but Pb is at a suitable age. This morning, her papa signed her up in a bowling class. It's a one time off session and Pb had fun learning the simple technique, trying on the special non-marking shoes and throwing the heavy bowling ball down the drain.... Oops! I mean, alley!! Haha :)

Hooked on Books
Recently, pb and I are hooked on Diary of Amos Lee books. Adeline Foo has such good humour. We bought all the Amos Lee and Whoopie Lee's books in Popular. We are sharing the titles. Sometimes, we will discuss about the book content and laughed about the jokes together. I always pray that God will bless my children to become independent avid readers and I thank God that He has kept His promises! All glory unto Him!! :)
Wonderful Smart Phone Applications
Sometimes when I'm bored, I like to play with the Smart Phone applications. They're really very useful and user-friendly. This particular one is about pencil sketching, from Photofunia. It's much better than the real pencil sketching which I've lost faith in. Love these photos of Pb, so natural and sweet :) Praise God for His lovely creation :)

Disney on Ice - Princesses and Heros
This was the second time we took the children to Disney on Ice. This year, the theme was Princesses and Heros. We had very good seats and were able to see the faces of the characters. The children were engaged and memorized by the music, the skating and set. After the performance, they both wanted a souvenir to remember the night. A sword for Rb and a Diary for Pb. $22 and $14! What a ripped off!! But they loved their gifts very much... Mommy's pocket... Ouch! :)
Ikea, A Pro-family Company
We love Ikea. It's one of the organizations that's pro family. Last Saturday, we went to Ikea for lunch and before we were going home, we chanced upon a Puppet-Making Workshop which was FOC. Hence, we sign the children up on the spot. The children enjoyed themselves making and later on, puppeteering their creations :)

Skating with Pb
Friday Night Fun
On weekdays, we are always so busy with school work that we hardly have any time for playing. I always hear Reuben echoing, "Mommy, play with me..." and sadly, I'm always engaged in something or on my way to work. I always feel very guilty not being able to accompany them.
On Friday night, instead of cell group meeting, we were supposed to have leaders' training. However, I decided to stay at home to play with my two lovely kiddies. They have been waiting way too long for me and that day was the last day of school.
We played Uno, pretended to be doctor and patients, played stringing of beads and dance to silly tunes "Hula hula" from Hi-5. It was fun and we were totally engaged.
I hope we can have more chance to goof around, doing nothing at all. :)
