Praise God! We received this certificate from the mail. Pb got merit! When Rb heard it, he said, "Jie jie got married??" We had a good laugh! :) Of course, Pb is worth more than a certificate and we honestly do not need people's accreditation of her worth because she is always precious in our sight, a beautiful creation of God. We are thankful for God's grace upon this little girl and thankful that she has tried her best in doing her part as a student :) God is indeed good!! :)

Actual Day for NAFA SYT Master Class
The day has finally come. Rb has been practicing hard for the NAFA SYT Master Class for Preparatory 1. All that was needed to be prepared has been done. We just have to commit it to God. Indeed, Rb rose to the occasion. He played tunefully and in a steady pace. We are v proud of him. His hard work has indeed paid off. Thank you for His blessings and favour! :)
Prior to NAFA SYT Master Class 1
Rb would be performing for his NAFA SYT Master Class 1 on 22 March 2014. Besides working hard on the fingerings of the A major scale, A major Arpeggios and Go Tell Aunt Rhody, we also got Rb a new shirt, a matching blue bow tie and a pair of black shoes for the occasion.
Here are some pictures of Rb taken prior to his actual performances. He's a diligent, responsible and committed little boy. I'm so proud of him :)

Abby's Out Today
Abby is still new to our home and she's a little timid. She doesn't know how to jump out of her cage. She's hesitant. Finally, curiosity got the better of her. With some encouragement, Abby's out of the cage :)Watch how Abby the timid Puppy learn how to get out of her playpen to explore more territory :)
Master Class
After one term of violin lesson, Rb is due for his Master Class in NAFA SYT next week, where the students will be subjected to the first round of elimination. He has to play the A major scales, Arpeggios in A and a designated piece in Suzuki Preparatory Book 1. His teacher has selected "Go Tell Aunt Rhody". So here he is, presenting "Go Tell Aunt Rhody". Not perfect yet but do enjoy.
Hokkien Mecee
Pb, the Hokkien Mecee, is going to introduce her class performance for the event "Hi Tea with the old folks" on 14 March 2014, 2.15-5.30 pm, organised by the Touch Community Services. I admire her enthusiasm and good memory! :) However, are you able to understand what she was saying ? Haha :)

Abby is Home
We went to pick Abby up on Friday. We wanted to surprised Pb and Rb. Pb had school programme, "Hi tea with the old folks", organised by the Touch Community Services from 2.15-5.30 pm. Rb was already in grands place with Aunty Nia. We have been putting the kiddies with the grands for the Fridays since 4 weeks ago coz we had signed up for a 7-week marriage course. We pick Abby up from Pet Halo Mountain and settled her down in her playpen. I cleaned her up coz she had motion sickness and puked twice in the car along the way. Papa went to pick Pb from school in the meantime. Then we went to the grands place together to let Pb join Rb. We were filled with excitement but we had not let the cat out of the bag:)
After the course, we went to pick the kiddies. They were surprised and delighted to find Abby at home!! Abby looked well and she ate her food. We are all glad to have her in our home. She's a cute and fun girl, v friendly and playful, always wagging her tail :) I hope that we will continue to love her and take good care of her for the rest of her life:)

The Truth is Out!
Yeh!! Praise God!! I've just received pb's piano results!! She got merit this time round!! I'm so happy for her. She has worked hard and tried her best. She has endured numerous sessions of scolding and nagging and reprimanding from me during our daily practice. I think she deserve this good grades. To God be the Glory! His love endures forever!! :)

More Pictures of Abby
Last Sunday, we went to visit Abby again. She is due for vaccination tomorrow, 5 March. After which, she'll be observed for another week and we've decided to pick her up on next Saturday, 15 March, just in time for school holidays. This time round, we were more confident in carrying her. Papa surprised me when he wanted to have a go in carrying Abby too! :) I guess he has accepted the fact that the puppy is really going to be part of our family soon! Haha! If you can't persuade them, you might as well join them right? Haha. We are all looking forward to welcoming her home :) Will keep you readers posted!! :)
Piano ABRSM Grade 3
Pb's last piano ABRSM exam was in 2012, when she was taking her Grade 1 exam. It was her first time and we were not too sure what to expect. After getting her results, we've decided that yearly exam would be too stressful. Hence we decided to skip a year and a grade to do Grade 3 in 2014 instead. Her exam was scheduled to be on 19 February 2014, at the same Florence Music School in Marine Parade. This time round, we were more familiar with the process of the exam. Nevertheless, we were excited and nervous about it.
When Pb went into the examination room, I tried to stick my ears to the wall of the holding room to try to eavesdrop. Haha! I knew it was very unethical but I guess I was just overly concerned. She did make some mistakes, for example, playing the wrong major scale which the examiner required but she did replay to make up for her mistake. The three exam pieces seemed fine and fluent. The rest of the exam process, I couldn't really catch hold of it.
I would say that Pb had tried her best in practicing diligently in order to prepare for her piano exam. The results will be revealed in about three weeks' time. No matter what the results may be, we want to commit it to God. Let His will be done, Amen.
