Will This Be Me?

This video is really hilarious! Gives me a good laugh early in the morning!! :)

To think of it, will I become like this? :p oh dear :) I guess I have to leave my children up to God every day and seek Him to provide the best for my Children!! In Him I trust! Amen! :)

Rock Climbing Experience

Last Saturday, we signed up the children for a rock climbing session. It was Reuben's first time trying out and Phoebe's second. Rb was an enthusiast at first. He was all ready to climb like Spider Man, overly confident. Then when he took his first climb, he literally sprawled vertically, clinging on to the artificial rocks for dear life! He managed to crawl upwards but did not make it for more than 1-third of the wall before requesting to be carried down. Pb, on the other hand, was a crouching Spider Girl. She made it all the way to the top and abseil confidently.

I guess both of them are v different and they have different niches. Rb has better ball sense while Pb is better in rock climbing and dance. Praise God for His diversity!! :)

Straw Earrings

Innovative? Haha. When I was a teenager, my classmates and I used to fold such straw flowers in MacDonald's. Last Sunday after her ballet class, we were caught in a heavy down pour. Although we did drive to the Anchorvale Sports and Recreational Club, we did not have any umbrella with us to tie us through the distance between MacDonald's and the car. So we decided to get Pb a chocolate milkshake and sat down to wait. We try not to give them the gadgets hence I thought of teaching them how to make the straw flower. It was a little too difficult for their level. Nevertheless, we had fun and out of fun generates creativity and innovation ;) my girl loves her straw earrings v much :)

Longer Legs

I've been passing some of Rb and Pb's toys to their kindergarten because they are all in good condition and educational. I feel that it's good to bless other children with the opportunity to play other toys because not everyone has many toys at home. Today we brought their good old rocking horse to school. It was one of their favourite and earlier toys and they love it v much, fighting to ride on it when they were younger. I let Rb have a last rock on it before we took the horse to school. From the picture, I can see that Rb has really grown taller, legs longer :) his knees touching the handle. May this toy be a blessing to other children and may it bring lots of laughter to them, as much as it had brought to Pb and Rb. God BLESS! :)

A Story about Our Family

Rb wrote a simple 3-paged story about his family :) simple but cute, an emerging writer :)

Another Story by Reuben

Recently, Rb is into writing stories. This is his writing about Iron Man, his favourite character for now. Can you decipher his story line? :)

Make a Guess!

Reuben learns jolly phonics in school. It comes with Phonics action and songs! :) I was very tickled when I saw him doing the actions. Guess what he was signing? :)
