Belated Fathers' Day cum Day Out with Grams

We didn't get to celebrate Fathers' Day on last Sunday with gong gong. Hence today we met up to have a nice lunch at the famous Tim Ho Wan. I'm glad that gong gong and mama enjoyed their lunch. We walked around Plaza Singapura to digest our food.

We bought some T-shirts for Pb from Mothercare since it was having a sale. Pb is already wearing their size 9-10 of the apparel. Very soon, she'll no longer be able to buy clothes from there. What a waste coz I love Mothercare. The clothes are reasonably priced and the quality/ material is good!! Soon I'll have to source for young ladies clothes for my little lady! Time flies!! :)

Abby Babe

Some updates of our furry babe Abby :)

See how comfortable this furry babe is... Taking a nap on a lazy afternoon :)

The leash which I've ordered from Tao Bao has finally arrived. We can bring this sweetie pooch for a walk :)

Another picture of her snoozing soundly on the cooling ceramic tiles.

Abby just had a nice hair cut about 2 weeks ago by Aunty Constance. Look how clean and sweet she looks now!! Aunty Constance is really good in handling frisky little Abby! 😄

Lego Challenge

Rb enjoys fixing Lego. We strongly encourage him in pursuing this hobby although the sets are expensive. We thought it cultivates his patience, fine tune his fine-motor skills, teaches him how to handle an instructional manual and finally, helps him to have the perspective from micro to macro. I wouldn't say that for these 2 sets, he did it all by himself. However, he did almost 80% of the fixing and assembling, with me assisting him in 20% of the construction. I'm very proud his achievement. What I hope will come out of this learning process is that Rb will grow up into a handy man, one who takes initiative in fixing any thing, someone who is good with his hands. May God continue to nurture Rb, into the man He wants him to be. In Him hands, we commit Rb unto Him.

Blessed Fathers' Day

We may not see eye to eye sometimes and have differences in our opinion, but one thing for sure is that we both love our children very very much! You've been an excellent loving doting and supportive father. Our children are very blessed to have you as their papa and friend. Thank you so much for giving all your love to them. May our Almighty God continue to bless and anoint you as you continue to lead the family as the head of the household. Blessed Fathers' Day !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

祝我伟大的爸爸父亲节快乐。感谢您多年对我们大大小小的照顾和爱护。 愿您身体健康,能在主耶稣里得到喜乐和平安。上帝祝福您满满!👍👍👍👍

No TV Day

When there's no TV, we tend to bond better via hands-on activities such as making Rainbow Loom, playing UNO and  playing board games. Simplicity is bliss!! :)

Violin Preparatory Class 1 Results

We've just received Rb's violin results for his Preparatory Class 1 examination. I think it's a fair grade. Thank God for the results :) The next stage, Preparatory Class 2, will be even tougher. Let God continue to drive Rb in his learning! :)

Cannot Decide

Rb couldn't decide which super hero he wants to be! :) He's really hilarious! :)

Remarks

What comforting and encouraging remarks we received from Pb n Rb's school teachers!! Thank you God for nurturing my lovely children. Mommy is so proud of you my babies!

Thank you God for the creation of my two beautiful children!! :)

Spin A Tale

I got this idea from the teachers in my school. They did this with their upper primary pupils and the pupils were able to use the spelling words appropriately to spin interesting tales. I thought it was an excellent idea and decided to try it out on Rb and Pb, more so for Rb because I thought his spelling of words is weak. Since he loves to write on his dairy, spinning a tale using the spelling words would intrigue him too.

True enough, he enjoys the activity. Pb, upon seeing what her brother is doing, also asks for opportunity to do this activity. :)

I hope their interest will sustain for as long as possible :)
