Rb's K2 Graduation Concert Part 1

The graduation concert marked the completion of Rb's K2 education. In a few weeks' time, Rb will transit from Preschool to formal Primary School. I'm grateful to SKMCC for nurturing both my children. I can see God's hands anointing the staff and children in the school. I pray that God will continue to use this school as a platform to bring more people into His kingdom. :)

Rb's class presented the story of Zaacheus and a dance. He was part of the crowd. I love the rap music of the dance. For the graduation song, the graduands sang "Yesterday Dream". It was a v meaningful song. As always, I was impressed with the concert though I wish it was longer :)

Little boy was at all smiles. It was his day after all! He did his item with pride and confidence. He danced rhythmically. He was simply awesome. We are so proud of him.

I pray that this little boy will continue walking closely with God, allowing The Potter to work in his life, continue in moulding his character to His standards! Let God reigns!! Amen!! :)

We are so glad that mama and gong gong could grace the occasion this year! :)

Aunty Becky and Aunty Pei Pei were the emcees for the concert :)

We are so proud of our little graduand! :)

The awesome staff of SKMCC!! :)

Nightingale in Chinese

In our attempt to exposure the children to more meaningful and functional Chinese... But the language proved to be too profound for the children, I had to whisper translation to their ears. However, they were memorized by the music, the songs, the colourful stage work and the story. Thus I would conclude that it was time and money well spent :) I pray that their interest and standard in Chinese will increase as they grow older :)

Papa Bonding Time

Whenever I've extra duties in school and couldn't pick Pb up from school, papa will definitely take half day off to take over this responsibility :) Not only that, he will also try to take the children out for some outdoor fun in the evening. I'm very thankful to him for being a hands on papa, who is very interested in nurturing the children and who is always involved in their lives. The children are very blessed to have him as a parent, friend and playmate! I pray that God will continue to anoint him as the head of the household and filled him up with even more patience, compassion and initiatives, as He lead papa in the running of the family. God is great! :)

Yesterday I had school duties and couldn't take them for their swimming lessons, papa stepped in to help:)

Home Science Experiment

Rb's school gave the children a Science Home kit for them to do an experiment over the long weekend. Despite the fact that Rb had reminded me a few times over the past few days, whenever we went out, I totally forgot about buying the white flowers. Thus, this morning, Rb went to school without the product of his experiment and received a scolding from his teacher. He said he was v scare and he told his teacher, "Sorry Mrs Loo. I promise to bring it tomorrow."

He called me upon reaching home to "complain" and I felt really bad for forgetting about the committement. Mama got to know about the saga and bought Rb the white flowers.

So here we are, just done the experiment and within a few minutes, the flowers are already staining!! Yippee!! :)
