CNY 2015 Day 4

On Day 4 of CNY, we went to the church in the morning, after which we went home so that the 2 children could do some revision, packed their bags and play with their instruments. In the evening, we went to watch 'Ah boys to Frogmen'.

Just like that, the four days of holiday were gone!!!

CNY 2015 Day 3

We scaled down the activities on day 3 of CNY so that the kiddies would not be too tired when school start on Monday. Violin lesson resumed on Saturday for Rb even though the NAFA campus was closed. We had to go to the teacher's place instead. It was a good experience as the teacher had her own violin with her at home. They played duet together and the harmonious tune was simply exquisite! It was a rare opportunity and I hope that Rb would be inspired to play better.

In the evening, we had Linda, Jonathan and the 3 children to join us in a steamboat dinner. Initially, the children played their own electronic gadgets together, indulging in parallel playing. After a while, we beckoned them to stop and they started to play conventional games such as Uno and board games together. They had a lot of fun of course.

CNY 2015 Day 2

Day 2 was more tiring because we ended the day late. We went to Ann and Chek Meng's house where we had a good time dining steam boat together and having good fellowship.

Poster kids again :)

Hahaha! Who likes the cone and who likes the ice cream??? :)

Pb was irritated by Rb for photo bombing :)

CNY 2015 Day 1

This year, we are blessed with 4 days of holiday! We had a blast visiting relatives. It's really a necessity to catch up with my cousins since we only meet them once a year!!

These are the pictures taken in day 1 in grands and great grandma's homes.

The kids wind down by doing their favourite activity :)

Tokens of Affirmation

A few weeks ago, after his Chinese Speech and Drama, Rb said he received a toy soldier from the teacher because he was a good boy.

A few days later, Rb was very eager to show me his priceless "Model Pupil" badge when I picked him up from school a few days before Chinese New Year. He said that only 3 boys in his class got it. Our whole family praised him for his good behavior and urged him to continue to be obedient and attentive in class. Hopefully, he will continue to display exemplary behaviour. I truly want to thank God for His blessings upon my children. To Him be the Glory!!

Celebrating Lunar New Year 2015 - The Beginning

Here are some shots for 2015 CNY eve :)

This was taken in the morning of the CNY celebrations in our respective schools.

My celebration ended at 9.30 am so I could pick Rb at 10 am. Me in my new orange Cheong Sam :)

Saw this sheep model in Rb's school. It was really cute :)

Pb's celebration also ended at 10 am. So she had to wait for us as I had to pick rb first :) Pb was in her new Cheong Sam too :)

Then we went to Constance place in Bedok to collect Abby's new bed :) It was so comfy and squishy!! We love it very much and Rb said he wanted to hug it first. Heehee. Wish it was mine too!! :)

Awww.... Look at Abby! She loves her new bed! It's so comfy till she fell asleep soundly :)

The 2 helped in setting up the goody box. They put the candies into the sweet box :)

Our snack table, the highlight of CNY! :)

Rb made this CNY card in school. I wonder if he had copied the picture of the goat from somewhere, maybe from a sample shown by his teacher :) but I must admit that I'm pretty impressed with his drawing :)

Then in the early evening, we went to the grands house for feasting again! What's celebration without food? Haha :)

This picture was taken 2 years ago when Rb was 4 :) He was in his Chelsea Jersey PJ :)

Time to retire for the night, before that, the children were adorned in their new PJs. Rb has moved away from Chelsea and has sought allegiance to Liverpool Football Club, all to the doings of his father! Haha :) Anyway, sweet dreams to both babies! :) Blessed New Year to all :)
