Phoebe has been exposed to Barney since she was about 6-7 months old. I thought that Barney was rather educational because they inculcate good values to children through the use of songs.
For example, when I want Phoebe to pack up her toys or clear her things, I would sing to her "Clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere. Clean up, cleap up, everybody do your share..." Or when I want her to wash her dirty hands, I would sing, "Squishy squishy squooshy, give your hands a washy..." Hence Phoebe is very familiar with the songs in Barney.

Last Friday night, we brought Phoebe, together with our neighbours to watch the Barney performance. Phoebe was totally immersed into the show. When I hummed the familiar tune beside her, she turned around and put her little finger on her lips and said "SHHH!"I was both embarrassed and amused. The two little girls even got out of their seats and wanted to dance to the songs. I know that I've put my money into good use :)
