We go to the zoo so frequent that Phoebe knows how to spell it. Haha. Well, it's not difficult to spell it coz afterall, it's only 3 letters. We particularly like the Fragile Forest. It's free roaming for the animals and the animals are not afraid of human. They roam just next to us, we can stretch out our hands to touch them but it is not encourage as our hands might have bacteria that may infect the animals. The children were fascinated. Phoebe touched the butterflies and we got to learn more about the Tree Kangaroo and the Ring tail Lemur (pronounced as li-mah, not li-nah) haha (^_~). We love the soft and velvet-like fur, but of course, we did not attempt to stroke them. The children saw lots of Stellaluna (Fruit Bats / Flying Fox) feasting on juicy fruit. The last time, we saw a sloth on a branch beside us but we were so excited that we forgot about taking pictures of it. The children saw rows of cocoon and witnessed a butterfly in the midst of emerging from a cocoon.
Reuben learnt a new word "elephant" when he saw 2 elephants holding their trunks and tails, walking in a line to the Ride enclosure. Of course, he couldn't say "elephant". He said "eh-fant" which was good enough. I remember Phoebe used to say "eh" when she saw the elephant.
Zoo is definitely our favourite hunt. Anyone wants to go to the zoo can always ask us along. :)

Hey, u have renewed my confidence in Singapore zoo... I wanna start taking Sophie there cos she can appreciate animals more now. :)
hey, our Singapore zoo is not bad :) quite a good range of animals, we always visit a portion / section at a time, so it's not so tiring and we'll always have other animals to see everytime we go there... it's our weather that's killing! :(

Annie, the (3,1) is the Ring tail Lemur? So cute ...Is the Fragile Forest new? Haiz...miss the zoo the last time, and never go Sin zoo so many years liao ...sure a lot of new stuff ya..:)
The Ring Tail Lemur is gray, looks a little like koala in its fur. The tail is black and white. The fragile forest is not new, I think it has been around for a few years, it's just that we did not visit it until only recently. There's always something new in the zoo. Recently, a brand new little pymy hippo was just born. Phoebe saw the little hippo. Quite small and cute. Too bad, forgot to take pics again :p
what is the red thingy (3,1)? looks very cute leh....if you go again, remember to take picture of that small hippo hor...want to see ...heee...
The reddish creature is the Tree Kangaroo. It's small in size, with a tail that looks like a kangaroo's. Okie, I'll take a pic of the hippo, but I think by then, it would have grown to a big hippo liao :) They grow very fast.
