Last Friday morning, Pb's school hours were shortened and brought forward to the morning session. Her school was celebrating Teachers' Day. When I went to pick her up at 11.30 am, her excitement could not be contained. She was very eager to break the news to me - she was chosen by Mrs Sekar (her form teacher) to be Term 4's class monitor. I could see her monitor badge gleaming proudly above her name. She was grinning broadly but not with a tinge of arrogance at all. She has been waiting for this day but yet, she could not believe her ears when her teacher announced her name. Of course, I'm very proud of her! Most importantly, I hope that through this experience, she will learn to be more responsible, independent, leader-like and compassionate. I'm thankful to her teacher for giving her a chance. From now on, I've to constantly remind her to set a good example to her peers and brother! :) Thank you God for your Potter's hand! :)
