Holistic Education : P5-6 Games / Sports Day

With SA1 coming early, I am really like a Gan Cheong  spider, worrying whether the school can complete the syllabus in time. In a way, I'm happy that they had a P5-6 sports meet, good to diffuse the tension and have fun. The girls really enjoyed themselves. It makes me think about what I want in my kids education: an academic-driven or a holistic curriculum? I choose the latter! 😄 Having said that. I still cannot help but get sucked into the system sometimes, pushing her with many worksheets. I hate myself for doing that but then I'm also worried that she has lots of gaps to close up esp in math. Her relaxed nature doesn't help, only makes me more frustrated. Seeing her tears and her smiles, I'm reminded that she's only a 10+ yo child. Sigh. That's the dilemma of a teacher-tigermom 😅🐯👩

The happy champion! And happy with the Milo truck, free Twiggies and ice cream too! Haha :)

Indeed, God's Faithfulness through all generations! Amen to that!

Yey! Well done Pb & Lee House! :)

Such cute lanyard! :)

The Sec 1 girls leading the rest of the P5-6 girls in the Paga Paga dance :)

Pb said that the Sec 1 girls also presents their own dance which was v impressive and "much more complicated. Our Paga Paga dance is simpler in comparison" (in her words) haha :)
