Abby’s Fourth Birthday

Abby is 4! We got her a minion costume when we were in Taiwan during the December holiday. A fruit salad was prepared by the children. No bread included in the fruit salad because she doesn’t really like bread. Happy birthday Abby sweet. Thank you for all your enthusiastic greetings and enduring connection. We love you! 

Why We have White Hair

I didn’t know that my son is a black belt bearer! Woohoo! 🤣 It’s an encouraging way to motivate the boys. Seems like all music lessons are like that, even in other schools! It’s a good incentive!

God’s Glory in her Life

At 7.40 am, a church Friend of ours what’s app me “2xx, with As and A*” 

I just couldn’t believe my eyes! I WAS doubtful previously. But God has shamed me.

Her daily prayer, several times a day : Dear God, please bless me with 245 and above.

I was so scared that she’ll be disappointed But God shows me that He’s a merciful and gracious God and He loves Pb v v much. He granted her her prayer.

I can only give thanks and marvel at the faith of a child. Indeed, we need to have childlike faith to enter the Kingdom if God. 

To Him be the Glory, and May Pb live to fulfill God’s destiny for her ❤️

I resisted tell her the news coz I want her to experience the surprise, the joy and the exhilaration of her hard work. I want her to feel the gratefulness and give thanks to God. 😄

First Food and Consumer Education

Her very first Home Econs lesson (now known as “Food and Consumer Education”) and she brought it home to share with us! 😄 One burger 🍔, 4 quarters, one happy family!

Get Well Ms Chua!

Pb told me that Ms Chua surprised the girls by appearing in school on Shalom’s Day! I can imagine the exclamation of the girls upon seeing her presence! 

Ms Chua is thin and she looks tired but I’m so Glad that she’s well enough to make her appearance! May God continues to bless Ms Chua, heal her and protect her and fill her with lots of love and provide with many lovely people to take care of her! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The Day! God’s Day

Today is the release of the PSLE results. Pb has been prayerful, praying a short and Ernest prayer almost every hour. My heart goes out to her and I pray that God will give her Grace and Mercy. 

During my bedtime, I prayed for Pb. I asked God for a word to assure her. I ask God to use me as a vessel to speak to her. As I open up the online Bible, God showed me not 1 verse, but 8 verses for me to show Pb! I quickly got out of the bed and pen down these verses onto the “Mommy’s Notes of Encouragement” cards for Pb. I shall show them to her in the morning.

Till now, I still do not know her results yet, but I know, it’ll be God’s plan for her, and His plans are good!

To God be the Glory! His will be done! Amen!

Yes! I did it!!! I know this is very trivial to some, but to me, it’s really a something I’m so proud of!! Thank you You-Tube videos. 😄 Now I need to go iron the creases! ❤️ so happy 😊

Sewing Therapy: New Blankie

Have been wanting to sew a blanket to replace Rb’s 12-year-old Elmo Blankie (which was originally a cot blanket used by Pb). The Elmo blankie was thinning. Finally I’ve the time to do it tonight! 😊

PSLE Chatter

While I was sitting beside her when she was studying for her PSLE...

Pb : Mommy, your face looks like there’s no pleasure in life! (a matter of factly)

Me : hahaha 

My funny girl 😄 True leh... sitting beside her daily to watch her study can be boring 😊 but I’ll do it coz I love her and I want to show her my support and because she requested me to sit with her 😄
