The Original Ducktours

Every year, Phoebe's playschool will arrange for an excursion at the end of the year. Last year was to eXplorer Kid and this year, the Ducktours. We wanted to support this experiential learning, hence both of us decided to go along with Phoebe. The "duck" departed from Suntec City and then went around the Marina Boulevard area and into the Singapore River. Along the way, we saw the Esplanade, Merlion, Singapore Flyer etc. The tour guide, a young chap, provided us with some insights and I've learnt a thing or two about Singapore. For example, our Singapore Flyer is the tallest in the world - 30 metres taller than the London Eye. The Esplanade was built to shape like 2 microphones, which symbolised the arts. The floating stage where we celebrated our National Day this year was the one and only floating stage in the world. Well, that's about what I can remember. At the end of the trip, everyone, young and old, is given a duck beak which can quack when blown into it. Overall rating : 4/5 stars! Safe and suitable for the young and old.
