We want to let Phoebe learn ballet, hoping that some grace will be rub on her. Since she loves to move, enrolling her into a kinethestic programme will help her to develop her kinethestic intelligence. To make sure that Phoebe does have interest in dancing, we decided to let her have a feel of the lesson.
Together with our neighbour's girl, we attended the trial class in Dance Pointe. No regrets! Phoebe thoroughly enjoyed herself. She loves the movement. Look at the video and you'll see her enthusiasm. The little girls look so adorable. They were jumpy, just like Phoebe. They were in the midst of practising for a performance. We've signed her up for the new class which starts on next Sunday, 9 Nov at 12.30 p.m. A bit of rush for us as we have church from 9-11 a.m. Nonetheless, we know that she'll be excited to learn about Ballet dancing.
The lessons are not expensive, $139 for a term but the brand new set of ballet costume is! $99.50 for a set which consist of the body suit, tutu skirt, stockings and the leather shoes. We had wanted to get a second hand set but the school insist that we've to get THEIR brand of uniform. Too bad, we've to burn a big hole in our pocket! Let's just pray that Phoebe's interest in Ballet dancing will sustain .
