Because we have spent quite a lot in our trip to Australia in June, for this December holiday, we decided to streamline our spending and go somewhere nearer and less costly. After all, it's a time when we bond with the children. As long as we are with them having fun together, anywhere we go doesn't matter that much. For this trip, we ventured together with the same old Hans family.
We chose to revisit Malaysia again, specifically Genting for 3 days 2 nights because the children love the indoor and outdoor theme parks. They also love the World Club Room of First World Hotel, particularly the bath tub! Haha :)
We also drove down to Malacca, and stayed in the newly opened 8 months old Hatten Hotel for another 3 days 2 nights. It was very comfortable and clean, not to mention convenient and cheap, only about S$100++ per night. We will definitely visit Hatten Hotel again if we visit Malacca.
So what did we do in Malacca? Eating Peranakan food, buying Nyonya Kueys, shopping in FOS, the children played in a new indoor playground for a while, we also visited Jonker Street in the day and night etc.
Our voyage of 5 days 4 nights, were well spent. Of course we would not miss going to JB to buy groceries, have our dinner and pump petrol. It was a short trip but lots of fun for us all. I love Malacca and will definitely visit there again! :)
