This is the third year Pb and Rb had ice skating in Velocity. They always look forward to this year end event and we never fail to fulfill their anticipation by spending money on at least $120 of Choice vouchers just to let the two of them skate for at least one session. This year, Pb has outgrown the double bladed skating shoes and she had to be promoted to the single bladed ones, much to her apprehension. Nevertheless, she took on the challenge and tried her best to move on the single blades. Just about 5-10 minutes before the half hour session ended, she managed to move across the skating rink twice without holding on to the railing at all. I was very impressed with her courage and determination :) I pray that the same attitude would be prevalent in her studies too :)
