It was the first time I organised an outdoor date for my colleagues inside/outside school. We met at 5 p.m. in Jacob Ballas Children's Garden. The weather was GOOOOD! No sun and not too warm. Initially we had wanted a picnic but we later realised that no food and drinks were allowed in the garden. Well, save the hassle then. I thought the place was great but I failed to realised that the place was great for children of Phoebe's age! Amongst us were infants and toddlers who could not participate in most of the play such as crossing the wobbly bridge, climbing the treehouse, going down the slide, digging into the sand and running amongst the water sprinkler. Oh no! My mistake! I think the only kiddos who truely enjoyed themselves were Phoebe and Xiao Ci! Well, I hope at least the children could enjoy each other's presence. Next time when I plan for something, I must make sure that it is suitable for the small, medium and large. :)
