eXplorer Kid

After her last chemotherapy, my mum decided to get her hair permed again. I love straight hair but she hated it. Generation gap. She belongs to the era of permed hair and I belong to the present day of rebonding hair. Anyway, after she has fixed her hair, she felt that she's confident enough to face the world again. Last Saturday evening, she had a dinner function organised by the Lion's Club. It was in Downtown East. We thought, since Phoebe has not been to eXplorer Kid for quite sometime, why not give my mum a lift there and back while in the meantime, we can let Phoebe and Vera play there! One stone kills many birds.

Reuben also had a busy time eyeing the children playing. He also wanted to get out of our clutches to crawl around. We let him try out the baby gym equipment and also put him in he baby ball pit. He did not quite enjoy himself in the ball pit as he felt handicap, not being able to move much amongst the balls. Give him a few more months, he'll probably fly like jie jie!

After the dinner, my mum came over to eXplorer Kid to join us. The minute she entered the place, she tsk tsk tsk throughout - too expensive, like monkeys, too dangerous. Generation gap again. Haha :) Oh grandma, this is 2008!

Phoebe is wearing the T-Shirt that she and I coloured together 2 weeks ago. It was a plain T-shirt with a picture of a fairy and a castle. We coloured the T-shirt with fabric markers. This is the one and only T-shirt in the whole wide world. Absolutely exclusive.

Haha... the t-shirt and markers were a set, given by a friend on her first Christmas. She couldn't wear it then as she was only 2 months old. Now she's big enough to colour and wear it. I'm looking for similar set to make for didi but in vain :(
