Reuben has never been on the MRT since birth so we decided to take a train down to Orchard Road since parking fees will be ridiculous on a weekday. With Christmas around the corner, every shopping centre is putting up performances of familiar cartoon characters. We brought the kids to Centrepoint to watch the Mr. Men's Show. The show was at seven pm and Phoebe woke up from her nap just five minutes before the show started. The perfomance lasted a full 30 minute. It was enjoyable and Christmasy. It brought back memories of my primary school days. We used to read the Mr. Men's series in the school library. It's a cycle and the cartoons of the good old days are coming back again. We have Strawberry Shortcake, and then Carebears and now, Mr. Men. I won't be surprise to see the blue creatures, Smurfs, flooding the shelves of the children's department in shopping centres in the near future :)
