Great teachers are hard to come by. We're very blessed to meet these are the two wonderful, patient and dedicated teachers of Phoebe - Mrs. Suppiah and Mdm Teng (Ding Lao Shi). They're very loving and motherly. Yesterday was Phoebe's last day of school. I was very sad about it. I told Phoebe,
"After today, you'll not see your teachers anymore you know. You'll go to another school. You'll not come to this school. You'll no longer be in Little Learners"
Phoebe seemed to understand and she was very quiet. When the children were dismissed, I told Phoebe to hug her teachers. The teachers teared. I was emotionally stirred, I felt a lump in my throat . I handed the teachers a small gift as an appreciation. I wanted to say something to thank them but I had to keep quiet to restrain my tears from flowing. We took a picture of the teachers and bade goodbye to them. I'll miss the place, the smell of the room and the teachers. If the teachers are still there, I'll enrol Reuben there once he's of pre-school age.
