A Little Malay Boy

This is a backdated entry. Reuben's school celebrated Hari Raya Puasa on the 13th September. The children are supposed to wear their own outing clothes or traditional costume. So I decided to borrow a set of Malay costume from Auntie Suhailah. The costume fits just nice! Reuben did look a little like a Malay boy. This is what I like about Singapore - our diversity in culture. So our children can get to experience the richness of other culture. Reuben came back home that day, saying "tutupat", meaning "ketupat". The teachers have taught them some names of Malay food and items.

Reuben's 'tutupat' vs the real Ketupat
