This year, Phoebe can participate in celebrating Fathers' Day on 21 June 2009. In school, she made a door knob sign for papa. It was mailed by the school to Papa on 17 June (Wed). I thought it was very thoughtful of her school because most of the schools would have made the children give the gifts in May, before the schools close. Some schools jolly well forget about Fathers' Day because it conveniently falls in the June holidays.
On Saturday morning, I decided to let Phoebe make Roti Pizza for Papa to celebrate Papa's day. I modelled one for her and Phoebe made a slice of Pizza bread for Papa. She said, "Papa, Happy Fathers' Day." before presenting the Pizza bread. Papa was delighted! It was a yummy treat. Maybe next year, Reuben is old enough to participate too.
