I have been reading to Phoebe since she was a baby. To entice her to listen to the stories, I always try to be very expressive or even exaggerating in my reading. I think somehow, Phoebe catches my traits and when she reads a storybook or even a passage, it becomes natural of her to vary her voice to personify the character. Since Reuben loves Thomas and Friends, we got him many story books on his favourite characters.
