Reuben's 1st Birthday - Part 1

Reuben's Birthday is on Monday but we decided to celebrate it earlier over the weekends. Yesterday was Part 1 of the celebration. We brought Gong gong and Ma ma to their favourite Ivins Peranakan Food in Upper Thomson. We had a wholesome dinner. Next we proceeded to their house to sing Reuben the birthday song and cut the birthday cake. I didn't know what cake to get for Reuben because other than Hi-5, he did not show any special preference to the other cartoon characters. I couldn't find any Hi-5 cakes around. Hence, I ordered a 'Bob The Builder' cake for him because I thought Bob looks pretty cute.

With Phoebe, it was easier. I knew that she liked Elmo when she was about one because she kept calling it "Lala" after hearing the song, "This is the song, lala lala, Elmo song...".
